Why President Kenyatta’s social media accounts have been suspended

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Facebook and Twitter accounts were on Friday 22nd March morning deleted in what was later described by State House as ‘unauthorized access’ to the President’s accounts.

Eye brows were raised on the deactivation of the President’s accounts as it came about an hour after he had declared that no one, no even his brother or sister or closest political ally will be spared in the war against corruption.

The Chief of Staff, Nzioka Waita, later stated that the President’s accounts had been ‘temporarily suspended’.

So, is this a confirmation that the President’s accounts were hacked? If so, who could be the culprit behind the hacking?
