Waititu back to work, hours after his release
Kiambu Governor, Ferdinand Waititu, on Saturday, embarked on work hours after he was released from Industrial Area Prison.
The embattled Governor started off his job with inspecting the construction of Wangige Level Four Hospital and Kikuyu Market.
Reports also indicates that Waititu has vowed to hold official county meeting starting from Wednesday but outside County headquarters offices.
Anti-Corruption Court Justice Lawrence Mugambi, on his ruling on Waititu corruption case, he barred the Governor from accessing his office until the case is heard and determined.
Though Mugambi was not clear if the ruling stopped Waititu from performing his duties.
Lawyers have argued that Waititu can still perform his roles from a different office within the county.
