Ugandan police officers detained in Busia police station for tresspass

Four Ugandan police officers are detained at Busia Police station for illegally being in the country.

According to Nairobi News the four were arrested after they crossed to Kenyan side while chasing after a lorry.

It is said that Ugandan officers could not let the lorry with Ugandan number plate even after it crossed to Kenyan side.

A source who asked not to mentioned told Nairobi News that Ugandan authorities are having talks with Busia County Commissioner Jacob Narengo, to have the four released.

“They are requesting that the four officers are released and allowed to go back to Uganda. The trailer has also been seized and is currently being held at the station,” said the source.
