Two MCAs on DCI radar for funding illegal gangs

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations has launched a probe against two Members of County Assembly for being involved with criminal gangs.

Coast region Deputy Police Commander Muriithi Mutonga who confirmed the matter said that investigation is going on over the recent insecurity in the coastal region by armed gangs.

“We have launched the investigation, we will not spare anybody found capable,”confirmed Mutonga.

Intel reports indicates that the two MCA have been funding two criminal gangs in the coast region that has been terrorizing residence.

Its also believed that the two have been providing drugs to Wakali Kwanza’ and ‘Wajukuu wa Bibi’ gangs in Kisauni and Likoni.

A police who spoke to Citizen Digital on anonymous ground said that efforts to arrest the two MCA is frustrated by state officers who colludes with drug Barron.
