Fifteen traders were arrested on Friday at Burma Market for being in illegal possession of 800kg of Zebra meat.
Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) officials who nabbed the meat said it had been ferried from a Portland Farm in Athi River, Machakos.
KWS in a statement said they started trailing the traders after they were seen making away with a Zebra

“ KWS teams in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies pursued the suspects involved in the poaching incidents, ”read the statement in part.
A motor vehicle believed to have been used in ferrying the meat was also impounded.
