There are many cartels in City hall-sonko tells Uhuru
Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko. on Wednsday asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to intervene over high number of cartels in city hall.
Speaking during the commissioning of the expressway from JKIA to Westlands, Sonko called for the President help to dismantle the cartels in the city.
“Ile cartel iko hii Nairobi ni kubwa zaidi, nahitaji msaada wako kudismantle.” Said Sonko.
Cartels overpowers Sonko
The Nairobi County Boss whom from his speech seems to be overpowered by the cartels said it will reach a time that will force the president to get into the war.

“Lakini rais ile cartel tunaojaribu kudismantle hii Nairobi itafika mahali Mweshimiwa rais uingilie (Mr President, the magnitude of the cartel we’re dealing with calls for your intervention).” He added.
This is not the first time that Sonko, is declaring war against those frustrating county operations. In August he threatened to send packing a section of his cabinet over links with cartels.
The governor, in a Facebook rant, claimed that some of his county executives were withholding letters addressed to him by resident associations.
“I might fire more than six Executive Committee Members and three chief officers very soon for not being loyal. Imagine a CEC you trust most being absorbed by the so-called cartels to the extent of making sensitive decisions without consulting me as his boss,” Sonko wrote on his Facebook page.
