Stay out of ODM matters – ODM warns Senator Murkomen

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen, has been asked to stay out of ODM Party matters. This comes after MPs Aisha Jumwa and Suleiman Dori had seek to petition their expulsion from ODM by using the lawyer [Kipchumba Murkomen].

A letter presented by the party’s Secretary General, Edwin Sifuna, the party has asked Senator Murkomen to stay away from the party’s internal matters as he is a stranger.

Further, the letter stated that the ODM Party’s constitution doesn’t have any provision for a thing as “appeal to the NGC” and as such, they advised the 2 members with their lawyer to take more time and study the constitution to avoid embarrassing themselves.

“We strongly suggest that you and your clients take time to familiarize yourselves with the constitution and rules governing the Orange Democratic Movement to save yourselves from such ignorant misapprehensions in future,” it read.

It is understood that the problems of the two legislatures started when they openly proclaimed of their support to DP William Ruto come 2022 in the Presidential elections.
