Starehe MP Charles kanyi alias Jaguar, on Sunday requested DP Ruto to allow him punish his Embakassi counterpart Babu Owino.
Speaking in Kayole, the city MP said Babu Owino needs to be discplined for disrespecting the Deputy President William Ruto.
“Your excellency there is a young boy called Babu Owino who insulted you recently. I am asking your permission to let me beat up that boy again and embarrass him, your excellency,” said Jaguar.

It seems as the Starehe lawmaker is calling for a rematch after the two engaged in physical fight during the divisive 2017 presidential election at the Parliament building.

In his response Babu Owino said his energy will be directed to serving the people of Embakassi East rather than engaging in a physical fight.
“What has the Commander from Starehe said (Njagua). The only energy I got is for fighting for the people who voted for me and the oppressed masses in our society. The only fight I will engage in is on development issues,” Owino stated.
Babu is accused of using vulgar language against during ODM campaign for Kibra by-elections.
