Sonko buys two cows for Ksh 1.4 million
Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko, on Wednesday purchased two cows worthy Ksh 1,490,000 million at the 118th Nairobi International Trade Fair.
The county boss surprised President Kenyatta with a cow worthy Ksh 800,000 before purchasing his at Ksh 690,000.
The auctioneer at the function announced the flamboyant governor as the highest bidder of the cows.
“The cow will go for Ksh800,000 for the president, from the governor,” the auctioneer announced.
Speaking during the event Sonko assured the investors of endless business opportunities in the city. He said the county has a population of about 7 million a deal that is enticing to investors.
“We truly, are proud and honoured to host you all throughout this week. This recognition is also proof that indeed, Nairobi presents endless opportunities for all the innovators, traders and exhibitors represented here today, given that as a City, we have a population of about seven (7) million, that presents a huge market and labour pool for any discerning enterprise,” Sonko stated.

The controversial Governor is well known for his extravagant lifestyle, he is never dreaded of spending his money.
Early this year the politician gifted one of his daughters Janet Kahingi with a super expensive car just moments after she graduated.
Nairobi County First Lady took to social media to congratulate Kahingi, for the lifetime achievement.
‘It has been an amazing 13 years since I adopted you into this lovely family. Congratulations my daughter Janet Kahingi on your graduation with a business diploma, this is no mean feat by any means. “
