Sakaja clears hospital bill of DusitD2 terror attack survivor
Nairobi senator Johnson Sakaja has cleared the hospital bill of DusitD2 terror attack survivor Emmanuel Omala.
The youthful legislator had promised to settle the bill of Omala who was shot seven times by the terrorist. His story was aired on local TV station where he was stranded to clear the hospital bill at Kenyatta National Hospital before it caught the eyes of Sakaja.
Sakaja through his official social media page confirmed that he had kept his promise and cleared the bill. He also urged Kenyans to pray for Omala who is recovering from the attack.
“Emmanuel Omala is such an amazing soul. He represents the spirit of the Kenyan people. Glad to have visited him earlier on today and cleared his bill at KNH. I am encouraged he is recuperating well and realises that after surviving the Dusit attack and after sustaining seven bullet wounds, God has a great plan for him. Keep him in your prayers. We remain unbowed as a country,” posted Sakaja.
Deputy President William Ruto had paid him a visit in hospital and promised to clear the bill. Also Health Cabinet Secretary (CS) Sicily Kariuki and Education CS Amina Mohamed paid him a visit with the same message of clearing the bill.
