Ruto tells opposition leaders to carry their own cross in gold scandal

Deputy President William Ruto has asked opposition leaders named in fake gold scandal to carry their own cross.

Speaking on Saturday in Trans Nzoia Endebess Constituency, DP Ruto said that President Kenyatta should not be included in their conman-ship business.

“I tell our brothers in the Opposition not to import their bad habits to Jubilee; they should shun engaging in dirty deals, corruption and coning others,” said Ruto.

Malindi Member of Parliament Aishwa Jumwa who accompanied Ruto reckoned the DP saying that those named in the scandal should step aside.

Jumwa insisted that Interior CS Fred Matiang’i should step a side for allowimg GSU officers to safeguard a building with illegal items.

“How can you use General  Service Unit to safeguard the home of those involved in the criminal activity?” she posed.

The vocal legislator reveal that they will summon Matiang’i to parliament to explain the presence of police officer at the building.
