PSC warns Job seekers against fake jobs on social media

The Public Service Commission has warned Kenyans to be alert against people advising fake jobs on social media.

In a statement to the newsrooms PSC distanced itself from a fake recruitment exercise going around social media.

The commission advised Kenyans to be alert from the advertisement that requires Job seekers to pay nonrefundable fee in order to secure the job.

“The Public Service Commission dissociates itself from an ongoing jobs recruitment exercise whose advert is currently circulating on social media purporting to be from the Commission,”

“We wish to caution Kenyans against falling into the trap of unscrupulous people who have devised this scheme with the sole intention to con them,” read the statement in part.

The commission noted that it does not receive any money from job seekers in their recruiting process.
