President Kenyatta slams ‘idling’ Cabinet Secretaries
President Kenyatta publicly bashed Cabinet Secretaries (CS) who had accompanied him to Namibia for ‘idling’.
First on the firing line was Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri. Their mistake being too fast to open their notebooks to take note of what the President was about to say but not having bothered to take note of what other Kenyans living in Namibia had said.
“I am looking at my brother Mwangi Kiunjuri who has just opened his notepad to write what I am saying. But he was not interested in writing what these Kenyans are saying,” Uhuru said.
Next on the firing line was Trade CS Peter Munya whom he told to listen to what Kenyans were raising.
Foreign Affairs CS Monica Juma was called on for not dealing with the passport issues.
“Monica I wont say this again, we have agreed and must agree on a system that will help with the issuance of passports of Kenyans here,” President Kenyatta said.
His Personal Assistant was not spared either. He was accused of looking at his watch other than take notes of what is being raised.
