Police impound 3 top of the range vehicles stole from UK at the Mombasa port

Police have impounded three Ranger Rovers that were being imported to through the Kenyan port on their way to Uganda.

The high end vehicles were in three containers that were supposed to be delivered to Uganda as its final destination. 

According to KRA in one of the containers it was packed with Range Rover Sport and Range Rover Vogue to be delivered to Aruchan Ivan.

KRA Commissioner of Customs and Border Control, Kevin Safari,who spoke to journalists said that the vehicles were unearthed using the newly installed non-intrusive cargo scanner.

“One of the containers was said to have a Vauxhall Insignia Elite, assorted household goods, and a Nissan Juke. However, upon verification, it was found to contain a Range Rover Sport and a Range Rover Vogue SE,” disclosed Safari. 

The second container which was indicated to be carrying Toyota YARIS VVT-1 and household goods,KRA found out that it was carrying  Land Rover discovery.

The luxurious vehicle were being shipped from the United Kingdom via the Port of Mombasa.
