Police investigating a shooting incident inloving Embakasi East MP Babu Owino are yet to recover the gun that was used to shoot the victim in question.

“We are yet to recover the MP’s firearm or the cartridge,” a police statement reads in part.
The shooting incident occurred in the wee hours of Friday at the B-Club in Kilimani estate.
It is said that an argument errupted between Babu Owino and DJ Evolve before the MP ended up shooting the DJ on the neck.

The DJ is said to have been rushed to Nairobi Hospital by the club’s management before the MP was arrested at the same hospital.
