Owner of matatu whose operators were filmed harassing woman and child has been arrested
Police have arrested the owner of the Meru matatu whose conductor was captured harassing a female passenger.
Imenti North Sub County OCPD Peter Kimani confirmed that police have arrested the vehicle and the owner Paul Kiminja but the driver and conductor were still at large.
He also noted that police officers are looking for the two suspects and once arrested they will face the rule of law.

In a video clip that has gone viral the Matatu belonging to Meru Shuttle Sacco forcefully ejected a woman out of the car after she refused the car to carry excess passengers.
Mr. Kimani said that the owner will be charged with negligence, failing to have proper documentation together with keeping an unroadworthy vehicle on the road.
