Octopizzo sues KTN over Kenneth Abom death story
Rapper Henry Ohanga popularly known by his stage name, Octopizzo, has sued KTN over a story it aired in January alleging that he was involved in the murder of 19-year old Kenneth Abom.
In a radio interview, Octopizzo stated that he was forced to take the action as the unprofessional reporting tarnished his name.
“The problem was that what KTN reported, it wasn’t even about whatever was happening. It’s sad that in this generation media personalities don’t take time to report facts; a big TV station like that just doing hype,” Octopizzo said.
In the story in question, it is reported that Kenneth Abom, broke into Octopizzo’s house where Octopizzo hit him with a machete and threatened his life. The boy then ran to his house with a cut on his head.
His brother, Paul Abom, says that Kenneth ran straight into the bathroom from where he had a loud thud only to find that Kenneth had jumped through the bathroom window on their fourth floor to the ground.
He sustained chest injuries from which he succumbed.
