Nurses call off countrywide strike
The Kenya National Union of Nurses Secretary General Seth Panyako has told the court that the countrywide nurses’ strike has been called off.
He was in court on Tuesday to show cause why he should not be held in contempt for disobeying orders stopping the strike.
Panyako told Justice Nelson Abuodha that the strike was called off and further defended himself alleging that he was never served with the court papers.
The judge cautioned him not to disobey court orders in future.
