NLC Chairman Muhammad Swazuri barred from accessing his office
National Land Commission (NLC) Chairman Muhammad Swazuri has been barred again from accessing his office.
Chief magistrate Douglas Ogoti issued the orders to stop Swazuri who is facing corruption charges from accessing his office. Swazuri is accused of interfering with the evidences to be used against him.

Director of Public Prosecution Noordin Haji, had filled a petition at the Anti Corruption Court seeking to bar the NLC chairman from accessing his office. The DPP told the court that Swazuri is interfering with witnesses some whom are employees of the Land commission.
Last year the court had issued similar orders before Swazuri appealed and the orders reversed. Swazuri who will be leaving the job later this year is facing charges on SGR land compensation fraud.
