Murang’a Court clerk burned to death by angry mob
Murang’a court clerk Stanley Mureithi was on Friday evening lynched by angry mob in Gitumbi area, Kirinyaga county.
Mr. Mureithi was accused by the villagers that he had refused to burry his son on the family land in Gitumbi village.

It is alleged that the deceased declined to bury his 18 years old son who committed suicide something that angered villagers who lynched him.
It is said that Mr. Murethi came home from the Easter celebrations armed with an axe. The deceased then chased away villagers who had gathered for burial arrangements.
The mob also set a blaze the deceased house.
