Parliament committee on Transport and Public Works that is investigating the JKIA takeover by Kenya Airways from Kenya Airports Authority dismissed Transport PS Esther Koimett for failing to provide the proposal documents.
According to the Parliamentary committee, it is impossible to discuss a document that hasn’t been tabled before them. The Transport PS and Kenya Airways CEO were thus asked to first present the documents.

“What business will we be doing here if you don’t have the proposal? We can’t talk about what we have not seen,” Pokot South MP David Pkosing who is also the Committee chair stated.
Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria asked them to get the document as it is already in existed and not a matter of them generating anything new.

Further, the Committee directed the two to come along with Transport CS James Macharia.
“The CS is at the center of this so we cannot proceed without him,” Shadrack Mose of Kitutu Masaba said
