Mother and son to remain in police custody for killing husband
A mother and son will spend ten more days in police custody for conspiring to kill her husband.
Christine Dunge, is accused for being the master mind of his husband John Mulama brutal killings on May 13 at their Shipalo village, Kakamega East District.
Appearing before Kakamega Resident Magistrate Neolyne Akee, the two didn’t take plea as police asked for more time to complete their investigations.
Lead investigator Constable Athman Ali told court Michael Shem, son of the deceased provided the attackers swith a panga to cut his dad.
Mr. Ali noted that two phones from the suspects were forwarded to the cybercrime laboratory in Nairobi for more investigations.
“The complex nature of the case will require the help of mobile phone providers to provide data. Further, the weapon has been hidden by the suspects which may require time to recover,” the lead investigator said.
