More Nigerians arrested in Kasarani

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations on Thursday arrested 33 Nigerians in Kasarani,believed to be peddling drugs in the area. 

Kasarani OCS Robinson Mboloi who confirmed the incidence, said that they had nabbed 33,Nigerians and one Eritrean who have been masquerading as students in the area.

Mr. Mboloi also noted that the gang has been operating as far as Kenyatta University, colluding with local bar owners.

“Detectives managed to arrest 35 suspects, a bar owner and 34 illegal immigrants who have been posing as students and operating businesses around the United States International University-Africa (USIU) and Kenyatta University (KU) after public outcry,” said Mboloi.

The area police boss also linked the group to recent attacks on locals and even banks that have been witnessed in the area.

The suspects will be arraigned in court on Thursday.
