MUHURI states that Adam Photobook was contracted in 2018 to create an album that will portray the achievements of Governor Joho since he won the gubernatorial seat in 2013.
In a letter dated 25th March and directed to Governor Joho, MUHURI laments that the contract was single sourced.

“We found out that Chacha (County Director of Communication) and Mudathir (Deputy County Director of Communication) opted to drop Adam Photobooks and awarded the contract to another company (the name still not known) at a price of KSh 1.3 million which is almost 4 times the price quoted by Adam Photobooks that belongs to Khuwaida Hamid and Aisha Mohamed.”
MUHURI is now calling on Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) to investigate the matter and bring the culprits to book. At the same time, they want the two county officials to step aside.
