Mohamed Abdi, Wajir Governor’s election upheld
Wajir Governor can smile all the way to his county assembly after the Supreme Court upheld his election.
The governor had been the first to have his election thrown out the window but can now breath a sigh of relief.

His academic qualifications, degree, was being challenged in the petition. Chief Justice David Maraga and Justice Isaac Lenaola held that the degree was questionable. However, four other judges had contrary ruling.
The governor claimed to have graduated from University of Kampala.
