Two red cards, a coach sent off as well, two shots hitting the post and a penalty are what characterized the most important game of Gor Mahia in their CAF Confederation Cup final group game.
K’Ogalo needed a penalty to see off Petro Atletico who had numerical advantage over them after two Gor Mahia players were sent off.
On the 56th minute, Boniface Omondi was brought down inside the box and Tuyisenge stepped up to convert from the penalty spot.

The highly dramatic game saw Ernest Wendo given the matching orders on the 36th minute. 8 minutes later, Gor Mahia’s coach, Hassan Oktay was also sent off. As if that wasn’t enough, one more red card was reserved for the second half where Shafiq Batambuze was given his matching orders on the 77th minute.
Despite all these, K’Ogalo secured the victory that earned them maximum 3 points and qualified them to the quarter finals for the very first time.
