Marende wins case against baby mama
Former Speaker of the National Assembly Kenneth Marende won the case against his baby mama Jennifer Nkowua, of paying Ksh 35,000 for monthly upkeep.
The court had ruled in favor of Nkouwa five years ago that compelled Marende to pay for upkeep of his child. A ruliing that Marende appealed at the High Court.
The former speaker appealed the ruling and this time he won the case. The court ruled on his favor and dismissed earlier ruling. However the court directed him to pay school fees for their child.

This time round the former KPLC chairman was able to convince the court that he is unable to pay for the upkeep. Marende told that he is unemployed hence he has no source of income to support his family.
The former Emuhaya law maker,further told the court that Nkouwa was financial stable and could support their child. He also challenged the baby mama to disclose her financial status.
