Man disguises as a pilot and boards over 15 flights
A man has admitted that he has boarded over 15 flights free of charge in India while disguising himself as a pilot.
The man identified as Rajan Mahbubani was arrested on Tuesday 19th November after officials of AirAsia India became suspicious of him. He had impersonated himself as a pilot of Germany air career, Lufthansa.
The 48-year old was arrested while about to board a flight. On deeper interrogation, he admitted having bought a fake identification card for pilots which he has been using for the last 6 months.
With that fake identification card, he enjoyed preferential treatment such as free upgrade and direct access to planes.
