Larry Madowo to offer legal support to the father who tried to sneak the daughter out of KNH

BBC Africa Business editor Larry Madowo has promised to offer legal support to Boniface Murage Wangechi,  who tried to sneak his daughter out of Kenyatta national hospital.

Larry through his social media account said that he has contacted a city lawyer to represent Murage in court.

“His correct handle is @CharlesLMadowo and he’s located the court where the case will be. Hopefully, we can avoid a jail sentence. He’ll have an update tomorrow,” posted Larry.

Confirming the word of Larry, the lawyer also tweeted saying that it was unfortunate that the incident happened. He promised to handle the case diligently to help the client.

” It’s a very unfortunate case. We are glad to lend a hand in the matter. We shall follow up on the same tomorrow and update you.” He tweeted.

Murage was arrested at the KNH after trying to sneak her daughter out of the hospital to avoid to pay the Ksh 56,937 hospital bill.
