‘Krimino’ MCA and 3 others suspended as nine get warnings
Nominated MCA Mary Njambi well known for her ‘krimino’ sentiments has been given 10 days suspension from Nairobi County Assembly over misconduct.
She has been suspended for having been behind the chaotic scenes that were experience at City Hall on trying to forcefully evict the then County Speaker Beatrice Elachi from her office. This suspension has been rendered on her and two other MCAs; Laura Mwende and Nancy Muthami.
On the other hand, nominated MCA Mary Mariviza has been suspended for 21 days for her misbehaviour during the election of the current County Assembly speaker. She had stated that she was not consulted on the same process.
Nine other MCAs were given warning for their misconduct at City Hall on 10th September.
