KMPDU boss Ouma Oluga elected president of health workers worldwide
KMPDU Secretary General Ouma Oluga has been elected the president of health workers worldwide.
The union was formed last year during the 71st World Health Assembly in Geneva. It was derbed The Health Workers 4 All.
The coalition advocates for universal access to skilled health workers everywhere in the world.

The coalition draws membership from the International Council of Nurses, World Medical Association, Public Service International, Médecins Sans Frontières, Ecumenical Pharmaceutical Network, Amref Health Africa and 30 working in human resources for health.
Dr. Oluga who is known for advocating for medical practitioners right will be the chair at the organization for two years.
Dr. Oluga was once sentenced to prison for leading the longest doctors strike in the country. The doctors had strike over poor working condition and poor pay from the government.
