Kisumu Boys High School has written to the Ministry of Education seeking to be renamed Kisumu School.

School Principal Peter Obwogo confirmed to The Star Newspaper that they are in a process to have the school renamed to end the confusion among parents.

Obwogo cited a case where a parent from Kisumu Day paid school fees to the bank account of Kisumu Boys and vice versa.

“Like we have a case where a parent taking a student to Kisumu Day School paid fees in our school account. A similar case has been witnessed with a parent paying for a student in that school,” Obwogo said.

He refuted claims that the school management has plans to change the school uniform saying students with torn uniform were asked to buy new ones.

“Parents should play their role in ensuring children get the best education. They need to seek clarification from the school to avoid rumours. Our focus is on the child’s performance and well being,” Obwogo said.

  1. First off I would like to say great blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was curious to find out how you center yourself and
clear your thoughts before writing. I have had a difficult time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out.
I do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10
to 15 minutes are generally wasted just trying to figure
out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Cheers!
