Kimilili MP purchases 200 bags of maize for his constituents in case Covid19 worsens

Kimilili Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa, has purchased over 200 bags of maize for his constituents incase the Covid19 pandemic worsens.

The first time legislator took to his social media page, to announce that the goodies will arrive at his CDF office on Friday. Didmus notted that the food will be distributed to the less fortunate to the family.

The vocal politician also promised to distribute other basic commodities to his people depending on the unfolding of events.

“In the spirit of supporting the vulnerable during this tough economic time due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the first consignment of 200 bags of dry maize will arrive tomorrow in Kimilili Constituency. “

” More consignments of food and clothing will be delivered soon depending on the unfolding circumstances. I also urge the private sector and philanthropist to come forward and share whatever they can manage to our food reserve so that we can share with the community when time comes.” Posted Didmus.

He said that his team was prepared for the worst in case national government declares a total lock down as a measure to curb the spread of corona virus.

He joins his counterpart Ndindi Nyoro MP for kiharu who has committed his April salary towards the fight against Covid19.
