A 4-year-old girl who was kidnapped on Friday, May 24 in Utawala Nairobi, have been found in Machakos.
Detectives were able to rescue the girl from hands of suspected kidnappers at a petrol station in Machakos town.

Police managed to arrest two suspects, Christopher Mwaula Kathinzi aged 22 and 20-year-old Teresia Mwongela Kioko, who are believed to be the kidnappers.
The two are said they demanded a Ksh.1 million ransom from the girl’s parent in order to release her.

According to police, one of the suspects; Kathinzi, is a former Kenya Defence Forces officer who was sacked from the service.
