Three Kenyan “motivational speakers” were on Tuesday charged with fraud allegations in Rwanda.
The three Charles Chege Kinuthia, Rachel Matipei Nashipai and Vivian Khisa, had organised an event dubbed Wealth Conference which flopped.

Reports from Rwanda indicates that the trio had promised free money at the event something which they didn’t honor.

Appearing before Rwanda’s National Prosecution Authority they were accused of sending an e-mail promising over 1,000 people “free money” worth $197 by attending a conference at the iconic Kigali Convention Centre.

It is said that over 5,000 people attended the event but to their surprise no speaker turned up.
The charge in Rwanda could attract a possible sentence of up to three years in jail.
