Kenya National Union of Nurses deputy chair found murdered in forest
Kenya National Union of Nurses (KNUN) Kisumu branch deputy chair, Ferdinand Ongeri body was on Saturday found dumped in Kimondi Forest.
According to reports the body of Ongeri which was found by a group of herds men was highly mutilated with other marks on the body.
Nandi County Police Commander, Samson Ole Kine, who confirmed the incident said premilinary investigation shows the deceased was murdered.

Ole Kine also disclosed that deceased might have been murdered ina different location before being dumped by the perpetrators.
“It seems the man was murdered elsewhere before his body was dumped in the forest,” the Nandi police boss remarked.
The KNUN boss went missing on Wednesday last week, with the last person who saw him alive identified as a boda boda operator who dropped him off at a dispensary in Riat Kisumu County.
The deceased was taken to Kapsabet County Referral Hospital mortuary, as police launched investigation into the murder.
