Kenya 7s at it again

While we were asleep, our boys, the young Kenya7s rugby team took to the field to represent us at the Sydney tournament.

Having bagged our maiden group win in the Hamilton Sevens last weekend in New Zealand as we reached the Challenge Cup final, Kenya’s Shujaa came into this leg with optimism oozing.

However, it was not to be so, as our boys lost their first two group games #Kenya7s 14 – 24 Canada; Kenya 0-41 USA; the next match is at 11:17 against France.

This means we can only fight for the Challenge Cup against as these results condemn us from the Main Cup competition.

The other hope we can have is that this is a very young team with limited experience, and that with time, they will end up being the very best as we were used from the likes of Collins Injera, Humphrey Kayange, et al
