Jubilee MPs clash in front of DP Ruto over succession politics
A section of Jubilee legislators clashed before Deputy President over he 2022 succession politics.
The MPs who were speaking during the burial of Mama Jeniffer Cianjagi Njuki, mother of Tharaka Nithi Governor Muthomi Njuki.
It all started when Gatundu North Member of Parliament who was speaking during the burial declared his 2022 presidential bid.
The controversial lawmaker boasted of how God has blessed him before he proceeded on to ask for votes. Kuria who associated himself with Democratic Party in the recent past said that he will disclose his Party in future.
“I am here to ask for your votes as a presidential candidate. Come 2022, my name will be on the ballot box, I will disclose the party that I will use to vie,” said Kuria.
Kuria sentiments did not go well with Deputy President William Ruto foot soldiers who told Moses Kuria face off that he will not make it as the president.
Kikuyu Member of Parliament a close ally of Ruto told mourners that when the right time for campaigns come he will go back to Tharaka Nithi to campaign. He said that he is sure that candidate will neither be Kuria nor him.

Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu told Moses Kuria to stop misleading voters as there preferred candidate is DP Ruto.
“We don’t want to be confused by any other issues. Sisi tuko nyuma wako and I wanted to say that. Sisi tuko nyuma ya Deputy President.”Waititu said.
His counterparts Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru and Meru Kiraitu Murungi also commented on the matter. They advised Moses Kuria to keep off presidential politics.
