Jambojet plane to Kisumu forced to return to JKIA after landing attempts failed

Jambojet plane flying from Nairobi to Kisumu was on Tuesday evening forced to return to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) after failed attempts to land in Kisumu.

It is reported that the plane failed to land after heavy rainfall in the area that resulted to poor visibility.

The plane JM8656 was forced to make a return to JKIA where it landed safely.

Jambojet insisted that their clients safety is their first priority after their customers questioned why Kenya Airways, Safarilink, Fly 540 and Silverstone landed safely at the Kisumu International Airport.

“As we informed you earlier. Safety of our clients is our number one priority. We do not land because other flights are landing and taking off, we land when it is safe. Yesterday’s cancellation was due to bad weather in Kisumu.” Said Jambo Jet.
