Islamists attack Nigeria town on election day
On the election day, a suspected Islamist group attacked northeaster town in Nigeria, a move that made electorate take to their heels hours before election polls had been opened.
The electorate had to run and hide in bushes.

Reuters also reported that blasts were heard at Maiduguri, the capital of Borno.
It should not be forgotten that northeaster Nigeria has had the Boko-Haram attacks for months.
