Governor Sonko’s CEC nominee for Health turns down the offer
Nairobi County nominee for County Executive Committee (CEC) position Dr Stella Bosire has turned down the offer.
Dr. Bosire who was nominated by Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko to fill the health docket failed to show up for the vetting process on Monday.
During the vetting process it emerged that Dr. Bosire didn’t submit documents required for the vetting process.
Speaking during the vetting process of other nominees Nairobi County Speaker Chege Mwaura revealed that Dr. Bosire never submitted her documents as required.
“She never presented her papers to the committee to be vetted so we assumed she was not interested,” said Chege.
Governor Sonko has been tough to his CEC, he either fired them for not performing or for corruption allegations.
Sonko is also expected to name his Deputy after serving for a long period without his assistant.
