Governor Ngilu hasn’t revolted against devolution conference
Governor Charity Ngilu and Kitui county has not boycotted the devolution conference in Kirinyaga, as reported by a section of the media.
It had been said that the boycott was due to the Ksh 2 million participation fee expected to be paid by each participating county.

“The Governor Charity Ngilu has already joined other governors in Kirinyaga ahead of the opening ceremony on Tuesday 5th March 2019 and any contrary information must be treated as inaccurate and misleading,” said a Kitui County source.
