G.O.A.T Eliud Kipchoge back home aboard KQ

The greatest marathoner of all times, Eliud Kipchoge, arrived back home on Wednesday 16th October at 6:18am aboard the national carrier, Kenya Airways.

He returns three days after writing his name in the Guinness World Record for being the first human to complete a marathon in less than two hours.

He clocked an astonishing 1:59:40, shattering the mythical sub-two marathon barrier.

Eliud completed the first 21 kilometers in 59.35 minutes, 11 seconds below the two-hour pace.

“Today we went to the Moon and came back to earth! I am at a loss for words for all the support I have received from all over the world. Thank you to all who gave me the opportunity. Asante,” he said.

This adds to the feat of this great marathoner who has won 11 out of 12 marathons.
