Form 3 student in Murang’a nursing knife injuries from a colleague

A Form 3 student at the Wahundura Secondary School in Murang’a is nursing injuries in hospital after being stabbed in the head on Sunday by a colleague.

According to a report by Citizen TV, the two students had an argument over a padlock before the culprit attacked the victim with a knife.

The victim was rushed to Kirian-ini Mission Hospital where he was treated and discharged but later the doctors recommended to be transferred to Kenyatta National Hospital on suspicion of having internal injuries.

The suspect is still at large with police launching a manhunt. This comes at a time when cases of students attacking their colleagues, teachers and subordinate staff are on the rise.

Last week a form 3 student was arrested after attempting to hack the deputy principal of Mokwerero Secondary School in Kitutu Masaba, Nyamira County. The same week it was reported a form three student attacked two teachers at Kissi school with a knife.
