EACC recovers land grabbed by Raila’s brother

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) on Friday recovered a parcel land grabbed by Raila’s brother Oburu Odinga.

EACC Chief Executive Officer Mr Twalib Mbarak, said his led commission is working under president Kenyatta to reclaim all grabbed public land.

“In the wake of the presidential directive concerning repossession of the Kenya Railways land and the ongoing construction of the Kisumu Port, this is quite a milestone for the anti-graft body,” said Mbarak.

The anti-corruption commission moved to court to seek an order to reposes a parcel of land grabbed by East Africa Community legislator Dr Oginga Oburu.

Oburu was accused along side Baringo Central Member of Parliament Sammy Mwaita for defrauding the Railway Corporation a property worth Sh30 million .
