DP William Ruto warns his supporters
Deputy President William Ruto has issued a statement to warn his political supporters against early campaigns.
In a statement, issued by his spokesman, David Mugonyi, Ruto has distanced himself from all those politicians purporting to be campaigning for his 2022 Presidential bid.
The DP has said that he is fully in support of the President’s big 4 agenda.
“It has come to the attention of the Deputy President that there are individuals and/or groups who are purporting to be mobilising support connected to his 2022 presidential campaign. At no time has the Deputy President approved, canvassed or engaged in any other form of preparation for a presidential or other campaign after the last Presidential Election. At the moment, he is working to support the President to ensure that Jubilee’s transformational agenda, especially the Big 4, is fully realised in every part of the country,” said the DP.
This news came after calls from President Kenyatta and ODM Leader Raila Odinga, calling on politicians to seize politicking and embark on development.
