DP Ruto to compensate KCAA over Weston Hotel Land
Deputy President William Ruto’s Weston Hotel will compensate Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) for the fraudulently acquired Weston Hotel land.
National Lad Commission (NLC), Deputy Chairperson Ms Abigael Mbagaya said that William Ruto and Mama Rachel Ruto the registered owner of the Weston parcel of land will have to compensate KCAA at the current market price of the land.
According to Nation Ms Mbagaya said that it will be futile for NLC to start tracking down initial owners of disputed properties.

“Weston must pay restitution. If he (Dr Ruto) wants, he can go after the people who sold it to him. That’s what we are doing,” she said.
“Can we start going for the people who were allocated initially? We go for the people on the ground. Let them chase the people who are behind it.” Posted Nation.
Speaking in Chatham House DP Ruto acknowledge that the Weston Hotel land initially belonged to KCAA before he bought it. He said that process is in place to compensate the land owners.
