DP Ruto special message to team Kitaeleweka

Deputy President William Ruto on Wednesday passed a special messege to a section of Jubilee legislators opposing his presidential bid.

Speaking in Murang’a County during a fundraiser event, Ruto told the team dubbed as Kitaeleweka that voters will judge him according to development track record.

DP Ruto also accused the Kitaeleweka group for joining opposition in a bid to frustrate his 2022 presidential ambitions.

“There are people who have teamed up with opposition and have joined a movement dubbed Stop Ruto should hold on their horses and wait for the best time to do politics, they should understand that Kenyans will gain them on development projects and not by joining a group of confused and busy bodies who are out to split our party,” he said.

While commenting on Jubilee track record, the DP sarcastically attacked Nominated Member of Parliament Maina Kamanda. Ruto said that Maina Kamanda a member of team Kitaeleweka qualifies for the money government has set aside for the aged and vulnerable in the society.

“We have a clear plan and must live to ensure the promises we made during the campaigns are met, we even have money for the aged and the vulnerable where Mr Maina Kamanda is also eligible for the fund due to his age,” Dr Ruto said.
