Deputy President William Ruto has once again pledged that in the next one year, the government will deliver on its promise to complete various stadiums across the country.
He was speaking at Kericho Green Stadium during the Kenya Inter-Counties Sports and Cultural Association (Kicosca).

“Since we have a predictable and reliable source of resources, sporting events and programmes will be funded to harness talents. I am informed by the Ministry of Sports that construction of all the stadia we had promised will be finalized within the next one year,” said Ruto.
During the Jubilee government election campaigns, their pre-election manifesto had a commitment of constructing five stadia, none of which has ever taken-off, eight years down the line.
