Detectives arrest Prison warden for impersonation allegations

Detectives on Sunday arrested a prison officer Joseph Dida Gumi, for impersonating allegations.

The Director of Criminal Investigation in a tweet said that they arrested the officer who is stationed at Nairobi West prison after a number of complains from members of the public.

“Following numerous complaints from members of the public, Detectives acted swiftly on receiving info about the imposters & arrested one officer-Constable Joseph Dida Gumi, attached to Nairobi West Prison. Two escaped but are being sought by Detectives.” Posted the DCI.

The DCI also noted that Mr. Gumi two accomplices are on the run but the DCI detectives are pursuing them.

The three are accused of impersonating DCI officers.
